Part II, there will be another post of this gorgeous wedding!

Nok & Tyler live in Thailand, however had a small and intimate wedding here in warm Melbourne for their family and friends. I have to say, small wedding parties make for a LOT of fun. There was dancing, conga lines, ballroom and even a surprise traditional Thai dance from our Bride. The day was full of smiles, love and even luck from Mother Nature. They say it’s good luck for it to rain, and we did get a few small drops, on the way to the ceremony in the convertible Rolls Royce! However according to plan, the clouds disappeared and the sun shone for many hours.
Congratulations Nok & Tyler, a beautiful day which I’m honoured to have captured for you! xx

Stay tuned, more awesome goodness from this wedding coming up soon in part II!
Couldn’t resist posting this image as a quick preview. More to come from this beautiful wedding soon.

This weekend saw Janet & I hiring a delightful little van (AKA the “Fanta Wagon”!!) in which to drive to Timbarra. 5 hours from Melbourne, hidden in a beautiful little valley, Timbarra (I beleive) is home to two permanent households. But on the 31st October, was temporary home to approx 120 wedding guests, celebrating the marriage of Brooke & Min.
Weddings are always personal to the couple, but what better location to marry than the very place you met? The day started rather warm at a family home of Brooke’s, withthe ceremony by the riverside. The sun finally gave us a little rest, and we paraded around the gorgeous settings of Timbarra for the couple’s Bridals. The reception was set up in a massive white marquee, and the night ended with a 8 metre bonfire, keeping us warm into the wee hours of the morning!
Brooke surprised everyone by wearing a gown she “had to order in specially in the right colour”, which led Min to believe she was wearing her signature red. No, only in her shoes! The flower girls looked absolutely stunning in dresses made by Min’s mother, and converse shoes!
Congratulations, it was definitely a weekend to remember!

Get ready for a BIG post!
I’ve known Blake for about 15 years, his family are like my family. And now, Julia is like a sister! Off we went to beautiful Brisbane to photograph this wedding, and wow – what a wedding it was!
No detail was sparred and the Bride – well you’ll see for yourself how stunning she looks!
The day started at Tsiknaris to get the girls hair done, before travelling back to Julia’s Parents house to finish off getting ready (which I was lucky enough to join in on too!) We got Julia into her gown by Elizabeth de varga and the girls’ dresses by family friend Svetlana Remington. Taken by THE purple limousine, we arrived at Sirromet for the ceremony – where there was not a dry eye in the house! Flowers by Habitat Flowers.
The girls cat-walked down the aisle, flirting with the groomsman to follow them. The girls started a formal procession as the groomsmen and father of the Bride carried Julia halfway down the aisle on a beautiful throne. There she made her way down the aisle with father, Kerry on her arm to meet her about to be husband Blake!
After releasing butterflies into the air, we wandered around Sirromet to take advantage of the gorgeous buildings and grounds before the couple were formally announced at their reception in the most personalised theme I’ve ever seen!
Blakes French & Julia’s Russian heritage was blended together beautifully, with the tables named after famous French and Russian places, the cake, well WAIT until you see the CAKE by Yenmart. Net Productions filled the reception with live video of the speeches, dancing and fun, and also played slideshows put together of Blake & Julia’s lives.
Gelati was served by Cafe e Gelato Milany during the dancing and family sang and danced the night away.
Congratulations Blake & Julia, certainly an honour to photograph your gorgeous day for you, and was a wedding I will never forget! I’d also like to Thanks Garrison Sears & Janelle Manning for their gorgeous photography on the day as well!
